Neonix TR Rollover's interface is divided into two columns: the left column contains the Table/Row list and the right column contains text fields for creating, changing and removing TR Rollovers.
The Table/Row list is a tree which displays all the tables in a web page in the order that the tables appear in the web page's source code. Each table can be toggled to display or not to display its corresponding list of table rows. Beneath the Table/Row list are two buttons: "Expand All" and "Collapse All". You may find it useful at times to click the "Expand All" button so that you can see the changes you make to a TR Rollover immediately reflected in the Table/Row list. Otherwise, you will have to manually click on and expand the contents of a table in the Table/Row list to see your changes.
- Click in the first table cell (the cell furthest to the left) and then drag to the right, across the other table cells in the same row until your mouse cursor is over the last table cell (the cell furthest to the right). Let go of the mouse button. The entire row should be hilited.
- To select multiple rows, repeat the above procedure but this time start in the first row and click and drag down to the last cell of the last row.
There are two methods of applying a TR Rollover to a table row
- Select one or more table rows then Start Neonix TR Rollover
- In the top right column are two text fields for specifying the attributes of your new TR Rollover. Enter the name that you would like to give to the table and then either enter the color (a hexadecimal value) or choose a color via the color picker button to the right of the color text field.
- When done, click the "Apply" button. You will notice that the Table/Row list on the left side of the extension window will refresh. Your new table name will be listed. Click the "plus" sign next to your table and you will see the settings that you applied to the rows that you selected.
- Start Neonix TR Rollover and select a table row to modify from the Table/Row list
- The left side of the extension window consists of the Table/Row list. All the tables on your page will be listed in the order that they appear in your document's source code. If the tables have a name associated with them, then the table will be identified by that name. Locate the table which has one or more rows that you wish to apply a TR Rollover to and select a row (you can select only one row at a time).
- In the middle of the column to the right of the Table/Row list is an area with the sentence "Change the settings from the Table/Row list". This area is where you can add/change TR Rollovers for any given row. Since you have already selected a row from the Table/Row list, give the table that the row is a member of a name and then specify the color for the rollover (if the table already had a name then it will already be visible in the "Table name" field).
- When you have supplied values for the table name and row color, click the "Change" button. You will notice that the Table/Row list on the left refreshes and will reflect the changes you just made.
There are two methods of modifying the TR Rollover properties of a table row.
- Select one or more table rows in your document
- Specify the new settings in the top right of the extension window beneath the sentence "Specify a TR Rollover for the table rows selected in your document".
- Click the "Apply" button. You will notice that the Table/Row list refreshes and will reflect the changes you just made.
- Start Neonix TR Rollover
- Individually select rows from the Table/Row list
- In the section with the sentence "Change the settings from the Table/Row list" specify the settings for the row you selected.
- When done, click the "Change" button. You will notice that the Table/Row list refreshes and will reflect the changes you just made.
